My dad is seriously frustrated with the house situation. There are the bigger things, like the job that the subcontractors are doing, where he knows they're not doing it properly. I've been pretty out of it the past few days. I'm ditzy and flaky and tired. I lose my concentration easily, that is when I feel like doing something. I'm kind of glad that I'm not working now, because it wouldn't be pretty. But at the same time, because of the condition I'm in, I'm not getting anything done, and it frustrates me. Since earlier this year, when we had the whole cleaning-the-dryer-vent incident, a seed has been planted to get a new washer and dryer. Today started off eventfully. I cleaned the bird's cage (needed after the discovery of the smell the other night...much better) and I washed the kitchen floor. I may have mentioned that my dad is on vacation this week. He is looking to redo our laundry room, specifically the floor.
